How to reset the "Service" light on a Ford Edge?

To reset the "Service" light on a Ford Edge, start by turning on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to access the multifunction display menu. Press the "Menu" button and use the scrolling buttons to find the "Settings" section. Within the settings, look for and select the "Maintenance" option. Once you enter the maintenance section, locate the option to reset the "Service" light. Follow the instructions on the display to complete the reset. Generally, you will be asked to confirm the operation by holding down a specific button for a few seconds. Hold the button until the display confirms that the reset has been successfully performed and the "Service" light turns off. Once completed, turn off the instrument panel and turn it back on to verify that the light has indeed been reset. If the light remains on, repeat the process making sure to follow each step correctly.
