How to Replace the Water Pump of the Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018

First, release the bonnet using the appropriate lever and lift it. You will now need to start removing all parts related to the water circuit, including the reservoir in the right corner. Next, remove the brackets that protect the engine dampers, and prepare a secure support for your vehicle's engine. After lifting the engine, you will have access to the timing belt, which you need to remove by loosening its tension. Then, remove the pulley located at the pump position, and by unscrewing the bolts that secure it, you can also extract the affected pump.
