Each remote used for locking and unlocking the doors contains a small battery that powers the transmitter's electronic circuit. When this battery runs out, it becomes impossible to open the doors remotely. Fortunately, you can access the vehicle using the mechanical key. Replacing the battery is simple; remove the key from its housing and use a small tool to separate the transmitter section, open the two plastic shells, and extract the battery. Replace the battery with a new one that has the same specifications. These batteries are available at any supermarket.
