In order to use the automatic gearbox of the Genesis G90 you must first unlock the gearbox: to do this, you will need to hold down the brake pedal and the release button on the side of the lever, then pulling it down. In order to engage reverse gear, you will also need to keep the brake pressed and push the lever upwards to position R. To engage the handbrake you must once again hold down the brake pedal and press button P. The handbrake engages automatically when the car is left in position N and the door is opened.
