How to Change the Key Battery of the Genesis

To replace the battery of the remote key for your vehicle, follow the instructions below and refer to the video. First, extract the emergency key by pressing the button on the side of the remote. Then, use a sharp object to detach the back cover of the key, giving you access to the compartment containing the battery. After that, remove the old battery and replace it with the new one, ensuring the correct polarity. Finally, reposition and snap the cover back on and reinsert the emergency key.
