First we need the Genesis Connected Services app on our smartphone; then we need the set of two keys on our car. Now let's scroll the icon of your driver profile on our infotainment screen, giving it your name. The next step is to select your password, something you can remember, because you will have to enter it twice. The next step is to identify the fingerprint (after entering the password for the second time). you will have to give your assent to the system and place your finger on the biometric system and press the index finger of your right (or left) hand for 30/45 seconds until it signals that the operation is completed. If you then want to remove this option, remove the keys from the vehicle, open it with the app on your smartphone and start the vehicle with the biometric key. Choose the icon on the screen, swipe and delete your profile. Very simple.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise.
