To remove the center console on a Genesis G80, lift the leather boot that surrounds the gear shift and then completely remove it along with the gear shift knob. Now, use a tool to pry off the plastic cover that surrounds the center console, accessing the connectors underneath that need to be disconnected. After the connectors are disconnected, you can completely remove the old cover: this will allow you to install the new one along with the corresponding boot and gear shift knob.
