In this guide we will see the information useful for disassembling and replacing the entire transmission of the GMC Terrain. In order to remove the gearbox, it is necessary to raise the vehicle and proceed with the disassembly of the entire engine block; we then disconnect the suspensions and various engine supports, subsequently disconnecting the driveshaft. Once the engine and gearbox are brought down, it will be possible to proceed with the separation of the two components, also disconnecting the various pipes and wiring; we then proceed with the inspection or replacement of the entire transmission.
