How to Reset the Service Light on Holden VE

Resetting the service light on a Holden vehicle is a simple and quick task that can be done independently. To reset the light, press the TRIP button located on the steering wheel, holding it down while turning on the ignition; a prompt will appear on the display asking if you want to reset the service light. Hold down the arrow buttons for 5 seconds to start the reset procedure; when complete, the display will show the message "reset completed". Restart the instrument cluster to finish the reset procedure. If the reset fails, visit an authorised workshop for a diagnostic check.
