It's clear why it can easily come off: only two fragile screws hold a long plastic bar in place. The YouTuber removes it, degreases and thoroughly cleans the surface and the bar itself, and applies a nice bead of silicone on both. He lets it dry slightly and secures it. Reattach the screws, and now there’s no off-road situation that can dislodge it. The third brake light will not come off again.
