Chevrolet Trax - Video tutorial

Model: Chevrolet Trax MK 1 - Years 2013-2020
Part: Bodywork
Operation: How to mount weather shields on a Holden/Chevrolet Trax.

How to install weather shields on your Holden Trax. In the video, the YouTuber talks about $50 on amzn.to/3f45iHT. These shields are very useful for protecting against the weather and allow you to keep the window open without getting wet in the rain. The first thing to do to install them is to make sure the vehicle is perfectly clean, especially on the upper mounts. After washing the car well, we apply alcohol to the parts where we will stick the weather shields, so that they are perfectly degreased. At this point, all we have to do is remove the adhesive protection and stick them well. We do the same on the rear door, making sure it is well aligned with the front one. We do the same on the other side. The rain will no longer scare us.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
