Let's see how to reset the service light on a 2011 Honda Fit: locate the "select/reset" button on the dashboard; it is the round button shown in the video, often located near the tachometer. With the ignition on, press and hold the button until you see the "oil life" message start to blink; it will take about ten seconds for this to happen. At this point, release the button and press it again immediately, holding it down for another ten seconds. Now the "oil life" message will return to show 100%: the light has been reset successfully.
