How to Reset the Service Light in a Honda CR-V

To reset the service light in a third-generation Honda CR-V, turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine and use the onboard computer button to display the maintenance or engine oil life screen. Once the option is selected, hold the button for a few seconds until the reset request appears.

Confirm the reset by holding the button again until the procedure is complete. At the end, the system restores the maintenance reminder and sets the new service interval.

By switching off and on the instrument panel, you can verify that the service light has been correctly reset.
