Today, learn how to reset the airbag light on a 1999 Honda CR-V. Get into the vehicle and, while keeping the ignition off, remove the glove compartment on the driver's side to access the fuse box. Above the fuse box is the airbag connector; disconnect the cable and pull out the wire. Insert a previously prepared U-shaped paperclip into the connector. Turn on the ignition and turn it off after a few seconds. Turn on the ignition, remove the paperclip, and turn off the ignition; repeat this process four times in quick succession. With the ignition off, remove the paperclip and turn on the ignition. If error codes appear on the display, it means you need to visit an authorised workshop for a check, as the airbag may not be functioning correctly. If the airbag light is off and there are no error codes, you can continue to use the vehicle normally.
