How to Replace the Key Battery of a Honda Civic

Model: Honda Civic MK 10 - Years 2016-2021

Start by pressing and holding the button located on the front of the key for your Honda Civic, while pulling out the physical emergency key. Next, use a flathead screwdriver to pry off and remove the back of the key, exposing the exhausted battery. At this point, remove the battery from the key fob, completing the disassembly. To install the new battery and close the key, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
