Differential Oil Replacement

If the differential is noisy, periodic oil replacement is essential to maintain mechanical efficiency. Lift the vehicle and secure it. Drain the oil from the differential by removing the upper and lower plugs, positioning a collector underneath. Using a hand pump with a thin tube, after closing the lower plug, insert it into the upper hole and pump the oil into the differential casing. Screw the plug back in and check the oil level. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to the appropriate collection centres.
