How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Honda CR-V

In this guide, you will learn how to replace the fuel pump in your Honda CR-V. First, go to the fuse box under the dashboard (near the pedals) and remove the fuel pump fuse (fuse number 2). Then, turn on the ignition to relieve the fuel pressure. Next, lift the passenger seat, as shown at 0:30, pull back the carpet, and remove the three screws from the pump cover. Now, disconnect the connector and the fuel line (this will cause some spillage). Unscrew the cap as shown at 1:30, and using a screwdriver, pull out the pump. Install the replacement part, screw the cap back on (making sure it aligns with the indicator shown at 2:45), reconnect the line and connector, and the replacement will be complete.
