Honda CR-V - Video tutorial

Model: Honda CR-V MK 3 - Years 2007-2012
Part: Pump
Operation: How to replace the fuel pump on a Honda CR-V.

In this video we will find out how to replace the fuel pump in our Honda CR-V. First we need to go to the fuse box under the dashboard (near the pedals) and remove the pump fuse (fuse number 2). Then we are going to give the input for starting the engine in order to decrease the petrol pressure. Now we will need to lift the passenger seat, as shown at 0:30, raise the tear-off mat and remove the 3 screws in the pump cap. At this point we disconnect the connector and the fuel pipe (this last operation will cause a spill). We unscrew the cap as shown at 1: 30 and, with the help of a screwdriver, remove the pump. Now we install the spare part, screw the cap back on (making sure it coincides with the signal shown at 2:45), reconnect the tube and connector and the replacement will be carried out.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
