How to Change the Front Lights

Model: Honda Civic MK 7 - Years 2001-2006

In this video, you will learn how to change the front lights of your car. The headlights are secured to the bodywork with various screws, some of which can be identified by opening the bonnet. After removing the "visible" screws, locate the "invisible" ones. To do this, you will need to remove the front bumper. Start by removing the clips located at the front of the car (with the bonnet open). Next, find additional clips, one located under the wheel arch and another under the bumper, on the sides. Now, apply some force to the bumper to release all the clips holding it to the car. Once the bumper is removed (entirely or partially), you will have access to the last two screws of the headlight: one is on the side, the other on the bottom. Now disconnect all the bulbs and remove the headlight. You will also need to unscrew a metal bracket from the headlight. Refit this metal bracket onto the new headlight. At this point, insert the bulbs into their respective slots in the headlight and reassemble everything by following the reverse process.
