Replacing Wheel Bearings

Wheel bearings are part of a car's suspension. They are located on the wheel hub and help reduce friction between parts when the vehicle is in motion. The first step is to loosen the bolts and lift the wheel with a jack for better access to the components where the bearings are housed. Use a socket to remove the nuts, then detach the caliper using a screwdriver. Remove the shields and take off the disc, usually with a few taps from a rubber mallet. After this, you can unscrew the bolts and remove the old hub. Once the spacers are detached and the internal circuits are cleaned, you can proceed to install the new bearings.
