Honda Civic - Video tutorial
Model: Honda Civic
MK 7
- Years 2001-2006 Wheel bearings are part of the suspension of cars. They are located on the wheel hub and serve to reduce friction between parts when the car is in motion. The first thing to do is to loosen the bolts and lift the wheel with a jack in order to have better access to the wheel components where the bearings are housed. With a socket wrench the nuts are then detached and the caliper is then detached using a screwdriver. The protections must then be removed and the disc removed. A few taps with a rubber mallet are usually enough. Once this has been done, the bolts can be unscrewed and the old hub removed. Remove the fifth wheels and thoroughly clean the internal circuits, you can proceed to install the new bearings.
