How to Install Additional Interior Lights

If you want to customise your car by adding additional interior lights under the dashboard, first locate the fuse box. Now identify the position light fuse. Replace the fuse with a double fuse holder (inserting two 10 amp fuses) from which two wires emerge: one red (positive) and the other black (negative or ground) that will be attached to a screw in contact with the bodywork. At the end of the wire, temporarily connect the additional light, and turn on the position lights to check its correct operation. Now remove the panel under the driver's side dashboard and pass the wire for the passenger side light. Next, remove the panel under the passenger side dashboard. Secure the wire with ties and also fix the light in the desired position. To connect the passenger side light, connect the wires by colour directly to the wires of the driver side light using quick connectors which are more practical for creating branches without running many wires from a single source. Once the correct operation is verified, apply the connectors to the temporary connections and reassemble the panels under the dashboard. Car model: HONDA ACCORD Year 2013-14
