How to Install Courtesy Lights

If you want to install additional lights on the doors, carefully observe the following images. First, you need to remove the door panel. Remove the cover behind the opening handle and the top part of the armrest by prying with a small screwdriver in the gaps as indicated. Now unscrew the screws and disconnect any connectors. Use a blade to remove the cover where the mirror is fixed. Now unclip the springs around the panel and the cables. Once the panel is disassembled, you need to remove the plug at the bottom as indicated. Then install the bulb holder. Now you need to run the wires from the cabin to the door and remove the panel under the passenger side dashboard. Remove the speaker to route the wires into the door. Bring the other end of the wire to the fuse box. Remove the panels under the steering wheel. Connect the connectors to the wire and use the lower row of sockets (left for the positive wire/right for the negative wire) according to the diagram and images. This is for the driver’s side door wires. For the other door, connect to the same wires using flying connectors. Install the bulbs and check the correct operation of the lights.
