Operation: How to install the light trims on the door sills

This tutorial shows you step by step how to install the "CRZ" light finish on the sill of each door. First of all, get the kit in question. Remove the cover of the fuse box and the cover placed near the pedals; also remove the lower panels on both sides (driver and passenger) and the front passenger side panel. Disconnect the electrical connection of the footwell light. After removing the door seal, mark the edge of the finish with a piece of paper tape. Line up the finish using the paper tape reference. Refit the door seal and mark the placement of the finish with the paper tape. Trace on the rubber seal the size of the bright part of the finish and, with a cutter, cut out with precision a window of the size you have taken. With pliers, extract the three metal plates present in the gasket. Carefully clean the finish application area and attach a piece of protective tape. Remove the adhesive part of the harness and place it using the previously applied piece of scotch tape as a reference. Press carefully and remove the adhesive backing by gently pulling the red tabs. Plug in the electrical connection and refit the door seal which will act as a cover for the cable. Connect the trim connector to the lighting connector in the fuse box. Clamp the trim lighting wire to the vehicle harness wire. Attach the 8-pin connector. Use zip ties and aluminum tape to secure the protruding cables. Reassemble all the panels as before.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
