How to Replace the External Door Handle on the Honda CR-V Mk3

This guide shows how to replace the external door handle on the Honda CR-V Mk3. After removing the trim piece from the mirror, detach the cover from the lock assembly and unscrew the two cross-head screws. From the handle cavity, detach the cover and unscrew the existing cross-head screw. From the top and bottom of the door handle, detach the two covers and unscrew the two screws present. Detach the sides of the door panel and disconnect the lock cables and electrical connectors. Remove the insulating sheet and disconnect the lock actuator rod. Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the two fastening bolts of the assembly and you can extract the handle lever. Reassemble everything in position and check the correct operation of the lock.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
