How to clean the mass air flow sensor on a Honda CR-V.

Model: Honda CR-V MK 3 - Years 2007-2012

Some engine performance issues can be caused by a dirty mass air flow sensor that does not perform its readings correctly. In this video, you will see how to clean it on your Honda CR-V. First, disconnect the cables as shown at minute 0:05. Now, using a cross screwdriver, you can unscrew the two screws holding the mass air flow sensor in place. At this point, you can extract the sensor and clean it by spraying the appropriate product on it. Now you can reinsert it, screwing the two screws back in (making sure not to overtighten them) and reconnecting the cables.
