To replace the engine oil and its filter in the Honda Pilot, position yourself under the vehicle. Therefore, it is advisable to lift the car on a service lift or on jack stands.

From under the car, locate the oil pan and place a container large enough to catch the used engine oil underneath it. Open the drain plug of the pan and let all the old oil flow out before closing it. Next to it, you will also find the oil filter that you need to remove and replace with a new one. After doing this, you can add the new engine oil through the fill cap located in the front hood.
