How to Remove the Radio from the Honda CR-V Mk1

This guide shows how to remove the radio from the Honda CR-V Mk1. First, unscrew the screw located under the steering wheel on the right side. Remove the two plastic clips securing the panel at the bottom of the centre console and take the piece out. Unscrew the four screws that are now exposed. Remove the six screws securing the glove compartment and take out the ashtray. Remove the three screws from the housing. At this point, you need to detach the glove box using the two securing clips and unscrew the two screws on the left side. Next, remove the plastic panel from the centre console. Then, remove the 8 mm bolts and disconnect the radio unit. Unscrew the bolts securing the radio to the fascia and replace it.
