Brake Disc Replacement

The following guide illustrates, step by step, how to replace the brake discs on your car in the best possible way. The braking system is of primary importance for the safety of the driver and passengers, and to ensure maximum efficiency of the vehicle. You can carry out the replacement procedure without necessarily resorting to a mechanic, just have a good amount of manual dexterity.
Once the car is lifted with a jack, remove the wheel and then use a hex key to unscrew all the bolts on the rear side that secure the caliper to the frame. Then, you can slide off the brake caliper and the pads using an appropriate flat screwdriver. At this point, only the brake disc remains to be replaced.
