First, to remove the starter motor, take off the intake manifold, then disconnect the two terminals of the solenoid and unscrew the mounting bolts of the motor.

Once removed, take out all the indicated screws and bolts, open it up, and extract the rotor. At this point, remove the brushes from the housing, clean any dirt residue, and proceed with the replacement.
