To prevent dust and other foreign objects from entering the ventilation system of the Honda CR-V, there is a specific filter that must be replaced periodically to ensure its efficiency. First, sit in the front passenger seat and open the glove compartment in front of you, unclip the side catches and rotate it downwards.

This gives you access to the filter box cover; open it and remove the old filter element, replacing it with a new one, ensuring the correct airflow direction. Close the cover and reattach the glove compartment to its guides.
