Today, you will learn how to replace the battery in a Honda Accord key independently. Unscrew the small screw on the back of the key, and after opening the cover, remove the central body.

Take out the old battery and insert a new ECR1616 battery, then reinsert the central body of the key, close the cover, and screw the screw back in. Finally, test the key's functionality by approaching the vehicle to lock and unlock it; if the key still does not work after replacement, you will need to reprogram the key.
