Today we will explain how to replace the battery of a Honda Accord key on your own. Unscrew the small screw on the back of the key and after opening the cover, remove the central body. Remove the battery and insert the new one, an ECR1616, and reinsert the central body of the key, close the cover and screw the screw back in. Finally, test the key's functionality by going near the vehicle to open and close it; if the key still does not work after the replacement, it is necessary to proceed with reprogramming the key.
