How do you adjust the handbrake of the Hyundai IX 35?

In this video we can see how to adjust the handbrake of a Hyundai IX35: we need to lift the cup holder on the central console upwards, which easily comes off, as it is only snapped in place. Underneath we find the adjustment screw that we can tighten as desired, using a 10 mm wrench; tightening it pulls the handbrake and loosening it releases it; normally however this job is done by tightening it, that is, by pulling it. Generally the desired result is achieved when the handbrake lever is pulled up to a maximum of three/four notches. In this way the resolution is optimal.
