In this video, we will see how to clean the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve on a Hyundai I10. This component is used to regulate the airflow by bypassing the throttle when the engine is at idle. When the IAC valve has problems, the idle RPM can become irregular, and there may be difficulties starting the engine; in fact, the engine can stall when the accelerator is released, and the idle may be too high. One possible cause of malfunction is dirt, so we will remove it from its housing and clean it with an electrical connector cleaner, not with thinner, and then we can reinstall it in its place.
