How to replace the flat battery in the key remote of a Hyundai Kona? Follow these steps: take your remote and slide the button to release the metal key; once the key is out, separate the two covers using a plastic lever (as shown in the video). Remove the battery from its housing (use a small screwdriver), take a new one of the same size and voltage.

Refit the two covers of the remote (join them and press them together), then insert the metal key back into the cover. Test that the remote works correctly.
