How to Replace the Key Battery in a Hyundai I30

To replace the key battery in a 2018 Hyundai I30, you will first need a new CR2032 button battery, which can be easily found at an electronics store or supermarket. Open the rear cover: there is a slot on the side of the key; pry it open with a small screwdriver until the cover pops off; unscrew the two screws located under the cover, lift the internal cover, remove the old battery and insert the new one, replace the internal cover, screw in the screws, align and press the rear cover until it clicks. Remember that the used battery can be disposed of at the designated containers located at supermarket entrances.
