Let's see how to change the battery and shell of a Hyundai and Kia key: the battery is a common CR2032, which can be easily obtained from any supermarket or electronics store. The shell can be found on Amazon with the code B0D9LP4HLV for £8.46, with free delivery for Prime customers. Open the cover: on the back of the key, there is a slot near the open button. Use a small screwdriver to pry open the shell. Remove the battery, then take out the screw under the logo (usually hidden under a tiny rubber cap), unscrew it with a very small screwdriver, and split the shell in half. Remove the electronic board, take out the physical key, and transfer everything into the new shell: physical key, electronic board, and battery. Be careful with the spring (in the video, they rotate it two turns counterclockwise before closing). Join the two halves, screw the screw under the logo without overtightening, and check that all buttons work and that the LED lights up.
