Let's see how to change the battery and key casing of a Hyundai/Kia vehicle: start with replacing the CR2032 battery. Open the key cover, remove the old button battery, and insert the new CR2032. For the casing replacement, remove the screw under the Hyundai/Kia logo, open the two halves of the key, extract the spring mechanism of the physical key (turning it twice counterclockwise to unlock it); transfer the electronic board into the new casing, reassemble the spring in the new casing, close the two halves of the key, and reinsert the screw under the logo.
