How to Change the Engine Oil in a Hyundai Accent

To replace the engine oil in a Hyundai Accent, it is advisable to warm up the engine for a few minutes, then turn it off and safely lift the vehicle. After unscrewing the oil filler cap, position a container under the sump and remove the drain plug to allow the old oil to fully drain. Once drained, reinstall the drain plug with the appropriate gasket and proceed to replace the oil filter, lubricating the gasket of the new filter with a thin layer of clean oil before installation. At this point, pour the amount of oil specified by the manufacturer into the engine, start the engine for a few seconds, and check for leaks. Finally, check the level with the dipstick and top up if necessary to reach the correct level.
