Battery Replacement on Hyundai Tucson

Lift the bonnet. First, remove the two round clips securing the battery cover by levering them with a flat screwdriver, then remove the cover itself. Next, lift the small cover over the two terminals and disconnect them by unscrewing: remember to always start with the negative terminal and only then unscrew the positive. One 12 mm bolt at the front bottom secures the battery to the vehicle: unscrew this bolt and remove the battery. Reverse the steps for reassembly, and you're done.
