Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

In the following video, remove and replace an old cabin air filter in a Hyundai Sonata. Access the filter from the glove compartment located on the passenger side: first, remove the door of the glove compartment by releasing the small lever on the right side of the door, then turn and pull out the two butterfly knobs inside.

Now that you have access to the filter cover, remove it by pulling the clip on its right side. Extract the old filter with your fingers and place a new one (model AQ1144) in the same position as the one just removed.

Replace the cover and reassemble the glove compartment as before.
