To change the oil and the oil filter of the Hyundai Palisade, we start by putting the car on the ramps at the front, with a special wrench we unscrew the screws that hold the protection of the oil pan and the oil filter, removed the screws remove the two clips and remove the plate; removed the plate, with a socket wrench we unscrew the oil drain plug, let the oil drain by putting a container underneath, in the meantime that the oil drains and falls into the container, with a socket wrench we unscrew the oil filter container always placing a container underneath; Once the oil filter container is removed, we drain the oil, remove the oil filter from the container, remove the old gasket, take the new gasket, put it in place of the old one, clean the oil drain plug, put the new filter in the container, we screw it back in its seat with a socket wrench, we also clean the seat of the oil drain plug and we also screw the oil drain plug back on. Now we can refuel with the liters indicated by the house and when we are approximately on the indicated liters we remove the car from the ramps, take the oil dipstick, check the oil level and if necessary we carry out a topping up otherwise the operation is finished.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
