This guide shows how to change the engine oil and filter on a Hyundai Venue Mk1. The first step is to open the oil filler cap and the dipstick. Once the front of the vehicle is raised, place a container on the right side to collect the used oil and remove the 17 mm bolt to drain the fluid.

Using a 24 mm wrench, unscrew the oil filter housing located at the front of the vehicle; be cautious of possible oil spills. Remove the old cartridge after disconnecting the locking pin and install the new cartridge, securing it in place with the new gasket.

Reassemble everything and fill the tank; before hitting the road, let the engine idle to circulate the oil.
