Instructions for Removing the Radiator Fan

Model: Hyundai Sonata - Years 2004-2014

It is recommended to perform this maintenance with the engine cold to avoid unpleasant burns; start by removing the air intake duct located directly above the radiator (it is secured with three screws); the cooling fan is attached to a support frame connected to the radiator by lower clips and screws located at the top: unscrew the mounting screws, disconnect the power connector of the fan motor, and release the lower clips to extract the complete support frame with the fan.
