Operation: How do you replace the gear knob of the Hyundai I30?

To replace the shift knob of the Hyundai I30, you need to grab the shift boot so that you can pull the knob upwards and detach it completely. Once the old knob is detached from the boot, you will need to reinsert the fixing ring that joins the two components. This will allow you to position the new shift knob at the end of the lever, fitting it properly. Once the new knob is inserted on the end of the shift lever, you will need to make sure that you can shift gears without any issues.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
