Replacement of Instrument Cluster Glass

Model: Hyundai Santa Fe MK 1 - Years 2000-2006

If the glass (actually plexiglass) in front of the instrument cluster breaks, it can be replaced as it is available in the parts line (for many car models, this part is not available, and a new cluster must be purchased); to carry out the replacement, remove the instrument cluster starting from the trim around the cluster itself: unscrew the two upper fixing screws and remove the trim; then unscrew the fixing screws of the cluster and pull it out from its housing, disconnecting the connectors; then unclip the glass in front of the cluster by opening the fixing tabs and apply the new one, taking care not to smudge it; proceed in reverse for installation in the vehicle.
