First, we proceed to remove the right front wheel and then remove the upper protective cover of the belt. Unscrew the motor support bolts and then unscrew the crankshaft pulley. Then remove the lower protective cover and proceed to position the pins on the camshaft and crankshaft to ensure the engine phase is maintained. Then proceed to loosen the tensioner to be able to remove the belt.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes.
