Engine Air Filter Replacement

The air filter is a component of the fuel system in your car and serves to filter and clean the air drawn in from outside before it reaches the combustion chamber. Without a filter, foreign particles normally contained in the air (leaves, dust, various debris) could enter. A lack of a filter would result in an increased airflow to the engine, leading to a lean combustion, meaning too much air compared to fuel. The filter consists of two parts: a solid casing or structure and a filtering element made from materials like foam, cloth, and fabrics. It should be changed every 15,000-20,000 miles, and once you locate its position, you can proceed to remove and replace it with a new one.
