Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Hyundai Elantra XD, MK 3 - Years 2000-2006

The engine air filter box (air box) is located at the front right of the engine bay (when viewed from the front), between the battery and the brake fluid reservoir. To replace the filter, simply unclip the metal tabs securing the cover to lift it and remove the old filter. Ensure there are no dirt residues inside the filter box and remove them carefully to avoid them entering the intake duct. Then, insert the new filter, ensuring the seals fit perfectly against the edge, and close the cover, securing it with the metal tabs.
