How to reset the Service light on the Hyundai i40?

To reset the Service light on the Hyundai i40, turn the key in the ignition to access the menu on the dashboard display: repeatedly press the MENU button on the right side of the steering wheel until the maintenance interval is shown. At this point, press and hold the button located on the same right side, below the MENU button: this will reset the maintenance interval and the Service light will disappear from the dashboard.

Turn off and then turn on the ignition again to check that the reset has been successful.
