Installing a Ball Joint with Grease Nipple on the Suspension Arm

Replacing the ball joint on the suspension arm with one that has a grease nipple will certainly increase its lifespan as well as driving comfort. Essentially, you need to remove the suspension arm by lifting the vehicle on a ramp and starting by spraying some penetrating spray on the fixing pin of the ball joint. Once the pin is removed, use a forked chisel to extract the ball joint from the hub support. Then, complete the disassembly of the arm and use a clamp or a press to extract the ball joint from the arm and similarly insert the new one before reassembling the arm back onto the vehicle.
