Hyundai Santa Fe - Video tutorial

Model: Hyundai Santa Fe MK 1 - Years 2000-2006
Part: Shock absorbers
Operation: Replacement of exhausted rear shock absorbers

For this operation only an 18 socket wrench is required. Remove the wheel and unscrew the nut that holds one end of the shock absorber to the car chassis. First, however, it is necessary to effectively secure the entire suspension arm block so that it does not fall during the operation. Place the car on the perches safely and remove the arm guard retaining pins from the suspension. Unscrew the bolt that holds the shock absorber on the frame and then the one on the arm using a ratchet wrench of 18, then remove the exhausted suspension. Attach the new shock absorber to the base and then to the frame. Carry out a road test to verify correct operation.
